FPRA Orlando is excited to host PR Paid Forward Orlando 2024, March 6 at 11:30 a.m. in the Rollins College Rice Family Pavilion. This half-day event offers a unique opportunity for Central Florida nonprofits to receive pro-bono strategic communications counsel from local public relations professionals.

Why volunteer in PR Paid Forward Orlando?

Give back to the community by sharing your unique industry knowledge and expertise. Each volunteer will be paired with a fellow member of either organization to support a specific nonprofit during this event.

Earn continuing education units (for members with APR).

Membership in FPRA Orlando is required to participate. Volunteer matching will be based on the specific needs of the nonprofit; conflicts of interest based on your industry will also be considered.

Please complete the application here and indicate your interest by Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024. Matching and nonprofit info will be sent via email by Monday, Feb. 12, 2024. Volunteers are expected to prepare for this event in advance to provide the best possible counsel. To help you prepare, chapter leaders will host a virtual informational session prior to the in-person event.

Lindsay Hudock, APR, CPRC is a senior instructor and the advertising and public relations degree program coordinator in the Nicholson School of Communication and Media at the University of Central Florida and a principal in Well Said Public Relations LLC with more than 20 years of experience in the field. She is an active member of the Florida Public Relations Association where she has served in various roles at the state and local level, including serving as president of the Orlando-area chapter in 2017/2018. In 2020, she was honored as the FPRA Orlando Area Chapter PR Professional of the Year. In her current role as State VP of Golden Image, she has been an integral part of updating the process to submit Golden Image
