The FPRA Mentorship Program connects chapter members who want to develop in meaningful ways. Those seeking mentors may be newer in the field of public relations and communications and may be seeking help with exploring careers, setting goals, developing contacts and identifying resources. Or they may have specific scenarios they would like to doscuss.
Operated by the Counselors’ Network, which consists of senior PR practitioners who have both their APR and CPRC credentails, the FPRA Mentorship Program connects mentors and mentees for a set period of time. Mentors may share information about their own career path, as well as provide guidance and role modeling, but it is the mentee’s responsibility to set up meetings with their assigned mentor and establish goals.
The program will be launching soon for 2024. For any questions in the meantime, please contact Counselor’s Network Chair Amelia Bell, APR, CPRC.
