As a solo PR practitioner, Sandi’s experience ranges from providing strategic marketing and public relations advice to managing crisis situations, and lots of writing and editing in between. Sandi’s firm, Bulldog Strategy Group, is in its ninth year of business and has benefitted from being small and nimble, particularly during the pandemic. She has learned the ins and outs of business development and management from peers, mentors and Google. A self-proclaimed numbers neophyte, Sandi has had to learn when to tough it out and when to ask for help when managing things she doesn’t love, like bookkeeping. Prior to her work in the private sector, Sandi served the state of Florida in several capacities, including communications director for a state licensing agency and the Florida Attorney General’s Office. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.
