Lake County Chapter presents Sock it to Homelessness Holiday Gathering

You’re invited to Sock it to Homelessness on Dec. 19 at 6 p.m. at the Palace Theatre at Beacon College (414 West Main Street, Leesburg). Join FPRA Lake for a fun holiday gathering and enjoy some sips and desserts with holiday music!
In the spirit of giving, we’ll be collecting socks for our service project in support of The Open Door, a program of LifeStream. DYK…more than 3,000 Lake County students are homeless! The sock donations will go directly to The Open Door Drop-In Center that provides a safe, compassionate and supportive environment for people experiencing homelessness and where they can access appropriate services. Socks are the most requested item at the center.
