This year’s conference will feature 25 speakers, six general sessions, 18 breakout sessions all lead by some of the nation’s top PR professionals. Full conference registration also includes a ticket to the 58th Annual Golden Image Awards – The event celebrating excellence in public relations.

This year’s conference will be hosted at the beautiful Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate from Aug. 9 – 12. By attending you will be making a valuable investment in your public relations career.

On Monday morning, we get started with an inspiring talk by Elise Mitchell, APR, Fellow PRSA, CEO, Mitchell Communications Group and CEO, Dentsu Aegis Public Relations Network. In the first general session she’ll talk about “Full Throttle Leadership: Lessons Learned Looking Through the Turn.”

Looking through the turn is a basic principle of motorcycling that offers great business insight. As you approach a turn you must look where you want to go rather than fixating on potential hazards in the turn itself, using your instincts and experience to adjust within the turn — all in the moment. With PR evolving at breakneck speed, Mitchell will share lessons to help you anticipate what comes next and to lead with confidence. You’ll learn:

  • How to watch trends, anticipate approaching change and leverage emerging opportunities.
  • Demarcating potential for the greatest reward.
  • The value of taking the road less traveled, being a pioneer and standing for something.
