SUNDAY, AUGUST 3
Join the PR & Comms Summit Golf Scramble Tournament

Enjoy a morning with fellow PR & Comms Summit attendees while experiencing America’s oldest pastime! FPRA has brought back its long-standing golf scramble tournament. This event brings together public relations, communications and marketing professionals for a full morning of fun camaraderie and the experience of playing on a luxurious course designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer Design Company.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 3
President’s Welcome Reception

Attendees will kick-off the 2025 PR & Comms Summit with an exclusive night of networking during the Presidents’ Welcome Reception on Sunday, August 3. 

This time-honored tradition offers PR & Comms Summit attendees a place to go, meet up with fellow peers and co-workers and make new friends before the hectic rush of the following day’s activities.

This year’s President’s Welcome Reception will open at 6 p.m. inside the beautiful octagon Conway room of the Rosen Shingle Creek Orlando. Attendees will have access to heavy hors d’oeurvres and receive one drink ticket with access to an open bar.

MONDAY, AUGUST 4
Exclusive, Special Access to Universal Epic Universe

With Universal's brand-new amusement park, Epic Universe, just one mile away from Rosen Shingle Creek, Summit attendees will have the opportunity to experience what promises to be one of the most innovative and immersive theme parks ever created!

For a $125 add-on ticket to their Summit registration, on Monday, August 4 attendees will experience an exclusive cocktail reception with an open bar at the brand-new spectacular Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel with a dedicated entrance into the theme park!

At 7 p.m., you'll get elite access to EPIC Universe until the park closes. Attendees will experience next-level thrills and excitement as they encounter awe-inspiring attractions, breathtaking entertainment, and themed shopping across five imaginative worlds, including Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and Dark Universe.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 5
Mingle with Industry Leading Authors While Enjoying Chocolate

The PR & Comms Summit’s annual chocolate break is one of the highlight networking breaks of the annual conference – always filled with mouthwatering delights. This year’s event will be extraordinary. The Summit’s speaker line-up features five influential voices in the communications industry with published books that speak to today’s emerging trends and best practices.

Summit attendees will have the opportunity to purchase and have their books signed by the author during the infamous chocolate break at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5 at Panzacola F-3 inside the Rosen Shingle Creek’s Conference Center.

This event, including all of the delectable chocolate delights, is for Summit attendees only. This includes full Summit registrations and those who only attend Tuesday sessions and activities.


TUESDAY, AUGUST 5
Golden Image & Pinnacle Awards Gala

Join us for the industry’s premier Golden Image & Pinnacle Awards Gala. During this elegant, formal evening affair on Tuesday, August 5, you will get to see some of the most effective communications campaigns of the year receive awards (and yours can be one of them) while you mingle with top professionals in the field.

This awards program starts with a Reception of the Presidents in which you can network, take photos and make lasting memories. This grand pre-event celebration concludes with a champagne toast at 7:20 p.m. led by VP of Conference Elisa Ramer, MBA, APR, CPRC.

The Gala itself offers a delicious dinner and awards ceremony. Established by FPRA in 1957, the Golden Image Awards have long been a benchmark of excellence, honoring exemplary public relations, marketing and communications programs for nearly seven decades. Meanwhile, the Pinnacle Awards was established in 20024 to recognize individuals and teams for outstanding work and contributions to the profession. The Awards program concludes with awards of FPRA’s highest honor, including Member of the Year, the Doris Fleischman Award and the John W. Dillin Award.
