About FPRA:
The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA), established in 1938, was the first public relations organization in the nation. Today, FPRA remains the premier professional development organization for PR practitioners in the state of Florida. With more than 1,000 members, 15 professionals chapters and 14 student chapters, FPRA is dedicated to developing public relations practitioners who, through ethical and standardized practices, enhance the public relations profession in Florida. To ensure its members are staying relevant for managing todays and tomorrow’s communication challenges, FPRA provides an array of programs and services which include credentialing (APR and CPRC), professional development training, peer networking, leadership growth and recognition.

FPRA is interested in speakers from all disciplines of public relations, communications, marketing and social media industries. We are seeking engaged, exciting and passionate presenters with expertise in digital PR, social media communications, media relations, public affairs/issues management, marketing communications, public relations, video production, SEO, research and analysis, crisis management, content creation, community relations and business development.

Proposal Guidelines 

  • To be considered as a speaker for the PR & Comms Summit, kindly submit a forward-thinking and engaging presentation proposal that directly supports and pertains to either external or internal communications. 
     
  • The presentations should be tailored for communication professionals at the mid- to senior level. Your proposal should encompass strategies and practical applications that encompass both conventional and emerging forms of communication outreach within the field of communications. 
     
  • For presentations from agencies, consultants, vendors, and suppliers, we encourage the inclusion of a client case study, preferably with the client participating in the actual presentation. These proposals will be evaluated based on their unbiased, educational, informative and innovative content, and speakers should refrain from any elements that could be perceived as a sales pitch.
     
  • In cases where a specific session proposal is not provided, potential speakers may also be considered for participation in general sessions.

NOTE: FPRA reimburses airfare or mileage, car service from the airport to the hotel and back, hotel accommodations for one night, travel meals and parking fees. Specifics are outlined in FPRA’s Speaker Reimbursement Guidelines, which will be provided to invited speakers. Full conference registration is not included.
