FPRA chapters are invited to get in on the fun during the President’s Welcome Reception. This lighthearted, immersive experience blends professional networking with playful interaction in a setting inspired by the iconic golf comedies Happy Gilmore and Caddyshack. Chapters are invited to reserve a dedicated bay (starting at $300). There will be light-hearted awards to recognize creativity, spirit and commitment to the theme – think best team name, most decorated bay or best use of themes from the two iconic golf movies. Partner with another chapter, find a sponsor or come on your own! Join us for an event that’s sure to please a crowd — gopher included.

Chapters are invited to bring their creativity — and their pride — to life by crafting a custom Spirit Stick in true Camp Summit style. More than just a fun activity, Spirit Sticks serve as a unique expression of your chapter’s personality, energy and camaraderie. Each one will be collected at the end of the reception and proudly displayed at Camp Summit throughout the conference — offering a lasting, highly visible way to showcase your chapter and be part of the shared Summit experience. No blindfolds allowed.

Worried about your swing? Truth is, it’s hard to be a first-time golfing prodigy like Happy Gilmore. But if you are feeling like Mr. and Mrs. Havencamp from Caddyshack, a golf pro will be on hand to guide you, share tips and tricks to help improve your game!

Chapters are encouraged to reserve their space, as the number of bays is limited. The following levels are available. Don’t forget that your chapter may be able to obtain a sponsor to assist!

- A high-top table and some high-top chairs are provided. (Accommodates 6-8 people)
- Play Angry Birds, Go Fish, or a simple virtual golf game. Or just join the fun!
