Dr. Nneka Logan conducts research and teaching focused on public relations, organizational communication, corporate social responsibility, race, and diversity. Her work is featured in a variety of top academic publications such as the Journal of Public Relations Research, Public Relations Review, Public Relations Inquiry and the Journal of Business Ethics. Prior to earning her doctorate, Nneka worked in a variety of corporate communication roles where she managed internal, external and executive communication strategies, tactics, programs and projects. She has won numerous awards for her corporate communications work from PRSA, the International Association of Business Communicators and Ragan Communications. Her academic research has also earned awards from the National Communication Association and the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. Currently, Nneka serves as the diversity chair for the PRSA Educators Academy and as a board member for the Institute of Public Relations Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She is passionate about connecting academic theory to industry practice in ways that positively impact organizations and society.
