Join in the holiday cheer as our FPRA Tampa Bay Chapter hosts a volunteering and social event!
FPRA Tampa Bay loves giving back to our community, and the holidays are just the perfect time! On Saturday, Dec. 11, we will volunteer at the Pinellas County Animal Center AND enjoy some great networking outdoors with fellow area communicators.

10 a.m. – Brief Animal Center tour and dog socializing fun (bring comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes and your water bottle). We will sign single day volunteer waivers at the center that morning.

11:30 a.m. – The fun continues outdoor (minus dogs!) for our Holiday Networking Social. Light holiday sweet treats and refreshments will be provided for participants.

Ahead of our event, we will be collecting donations for the Animal Center via several ways. To make a monetary donation, visit:

To purchase canned food, toys and other supplies for our furry friends, visit their Amazon Wish List page at:

If you want to shop donations on your own, we will also gladly collect them. Just email us at

We encourage you to take part in the effort to help shelter staff care for adoptable cats and dogs in our area until they find their forever home. The Animal Center is operated by Pinellas County Animal Services.

Pinellas County Animal Services (PCAS) is the largest open admission shelter for dogs and cats in Pinellas County and is centrally located in Largo, FL. PCAS has the capability of housing upwards of 250 dogs and 600 cats at any given time. PCAS has an important mission to protect the health and safety of both human and animal residents of our county.
