A mindfulness practice can be a strategy for approaching our work and relationships with a clearer lens of observation and insight .
About this event
A regular mindfulness practice can build the skills of clarity, concentration and equanimity, skills that are valuable for leaders and practitioners in the field of public relations and communications.

As a Certified Mindfulness Coach in the Unified Mindfulness System, Kenneth Morgan-Schleuning works with clients to teach them mindfulness skills that support better communication, productivity, workplace resilience, stress management and empathic leadership.

During the May FPRA Lake County Professional Development Meeting, Kenneth will explain how to discover core mindfulness skills to help you get clear about your experience as it’s unfolding in the moment (clarity), to allow you to choose where to focus or place your attention while your experience is happening (concentration), and to strengthen your ability to be present during good and negative experiences (equanimity).

You will explore the benefits of practicing mindfulness to cultivate deeper awareness of yourself as a leader and communications professional.

As a Certified Mindfulness Coach in the Unified Mindfulness System, Kenneth works with clients in person and virtually to teach them mindfulness skills that support better communication, productivity, workplace resilience, stress management and empathic leadership. Kenneth’s career in public relations, hospitality and tourism has included roles at top tier global brands, including The Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, The Walt Disney Company and Visit Florida. Based in Central Florida, he is a member of the public relations leadership team at Universal Orlando Resort and an active member of the Florida Public Relations Association.

This virtual professional development session is appropriate for any student or professional in public relations or marketing.
