On January 18, 2022, from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m., learn how Walt Disney World leveraged multifaceted communications strategies to mark its 50th anniversary as The World’s Most Magical Celebration. Hear how the company used internal and external communications to promote Disney Cast Members as the heart of the celebration and find creative solutions to reach a global media audience.

The FPRA Capital Chapter is pleased to welcome our speaker, Jacquee Wahler, Vice President of Communications at Walt Disney World Resort. As an executive with more than 25 years of experience in crisis communication, issues management and creative content development, Jacquee leads a team of strategic communicators responsible for protecting and enhancing the reputation of one of the world’s top tourist destinations.

Representing more than 65,000 employees, Jacquee serves as company spokesperson overseeing large-scale and proactive media outreach campaigns to further build the image of the nation’s largest, single-site employer and connect with broad audiences through the power of storytelling. She also leads the cultivation of relationships with local, national and international media and other key stakeholders. Before joining Disney, Jacquee was a television anchor and reporter in Chicago and Orlando. She happily lives in Winter Garden, Florida, and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Our program will begin at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast and networking, and the presentation will be from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. The first 15 students to register get a complimentary registration. Please RSVP by January 15.
