The FPRA Capital Chapter APR Boot Camp is a three-day intensive workshop to assist candidates with completing the APR Questionnaire, prepare their Panel Presentation, and receive in-depth feedback through a group mock exam exercise.
This course is designed for busy professionals whose schedules don’t permit extensive preparation; however, it is highly encouraged that candidates have thorough knowledge of the APR Study Guide as this course is not for those just beginning their APR journey. Participation is limited to six (6) individuals. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.
At the conclusion of the course, candidates will be better positioned for advancing the panel presentation, have an in-depth understanding on how to align their study efforts with the written examination, and be confident in their examination approach to achieve accreditation. Candidates will be responsible for requesting sitting for the examination process with their Chapter’s Director of Credentialing.
Candidate must be a member of FPRA and/or a Universal Accreditation Board participating organization.
Provide copy of approved Examination for Accreditation in Public Relations Application with paid receipt for $385 examination fee. Please note that the APR examination fee is a separate fee from the Boot Camp fee.
Must bring own hard-copy or digital copy of APR Study Guide.
Must have APR Questionnaire completed but not necessarily finalized.
Must have Panel Presentation items assembled but not necessarily finalized.
Must bring own laptop.
