Being a public relations practitioner is extremely rewarding, but it also has its unique challenges. Before the pandemic, we dealt with deadlines, difficult clients and work-life balance. In the last two years, we not only had the anticipated, but we had the unexpected – working remotely or in a hybrid situation; sharing a workspace with a child learning from home and/or a spouse/partner; or managing a team and projects from afar. All of this chaos caused some of us to feel physically and emotionally drained, question our capabilities and even question if we are in the right profession.
On April 21, the FPRA Capital Chapter welcomes Chelsea Austin to Tallahassee. In this engaging and inspirational session, Chelsea will reveal her story of labels, worthiness and refusing to be boxed in, and teach us how to “Flip the Script” to finally realize the success we are meant to achieve. During this program, we will explore:
“Imposter Syndrome” – why you get it and how to get rid of it for good.
Self-doubt – its root causes and how to keep it from holding you back.
The warning signs your body gives you when you are on the verge of burnout and how to recognize them.
The true definition of success and how you can achieve it.
