The Counselors’ Network offers high-level professional networking and development for senior level counselors. CN hosts a two-day conference early in the year called the Mid-year Meeting. Typically held at an attractive resort property, the meeting provides intense, half-day sessions with usually three presenters who fashion their presentations around the issues of today. The intimacy of the locations often contributes as much to the dynamic fellowship and productive idea sharing as the professional sessions.
At the Association’s Annual Conference, CN members are given direct access to the keynote and general session speakers. Unlike other breakout sessions, counselors meet in a small group setting with the speakers. These intimate settings give the counselors an opportunity to delve further into the issues and topics presented. Other special functions, as well as an annual business meeting, are held in conjunction with FPRA's annual conference.
