Gordon Paulus, APR, Vice President of Annual Conference

Gordon Paulus, APR

It’s hard to believe that we are less than three months away from the 75th Florida Public Relations Association State Conference.

We have speakers covering many different topics of public relations that I’m certain will help you excel in your PR career or as our founder John Dillin would say “help you to do your job better.”Not only have we filled our all our traditional speaker slots with some of the best in the field, we have added extra topics and speakers! We have one additional general session and several extra breakout session speakers. It’s like a balloon that’s about to pop! Speaking of balloons … we’ll be celebrating our 75th anniversary in many ways. It will start with the FPRA Museum that will have its debut at conference. Our museum will feature our Association’s rich history, decade by decade. Doing the ceremonial honor of our museum’s ribbon cutting will be John Dillin’s grandson, Phillip Kramer. Those in attendance will hear about the life of our organization’s founder, Col. John W. Dillin, as his grandson regales us with stories about his granddad. And we’ll have birthday cake, too! It’s all lining up for a great event from Aug.4-7 at the beautiful Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club in downtown St. Petersburg. the Vinoy is where Col. Dillin threw papers as a young boy, now we’ll throw a fabulous birthday party there. And maybe even a bicycle built for twp, er, 15. More about that later. So, register for the conference, book a room at the Vinoy, bring your family and enjoy a great Annual Conference. Click here to learn more.
